Join us from 1 PM to 4 PM to learn the basics of American Mahjong.
Join us on Sunday, October 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for Queen’s Mahj 101 at the Queen’s Mahjery Studio, located at 4000 Monroe Road, Suite 110, Charlotte, NC. Registration is $100 per person and open to players ages 16 and older. Seating is strictly limited to 11 guests for an intimate table setting.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Queen’s Mahjery is hosting Tiles for Tatas—a special evening dedicated to community, celebration, and raising funds for an essential local cause. A portion of the proceeds from every ticket sold will be donated directly to The Pink House to support their mission and care for breast cancer patients and survivors.
Expect an electric studio atmosphere, exciting raffle prizes, refreshing sips, light bites, and a room full of players rallying for the cause. Reserve a full table for your foursome with four tickets or grab a single ticket to be paired with other players.

In this relaxed, hands-on three-hour workshop, we strip away the overwhelm and guide you through the essentials of American Mahjong. Led by our instructors in an intimate setting capped at just 12 seats, you’ll receive dedicated table coaching, plenty of repetition, and the chance to play through live practice hands in real time.
Complimentary light bites, sweet snacks, and beverages are served throughout the afternoon.

Gather your favorite players and celebrate the season of gratitude at The Queen’s Mahjery. Our Friendsgiving Mahjong afternoon brings together cozy autumn energy, lively open play, and friendly competition. Your spot comes complete with fully set tables, seasonal studio vibes, festive raffle prizes, and sips throughout the afternoon.
Please note: This event is structured as self-guided open play. Players must be able to play full games independently without instructor assistance.
The Big Card Classic, a partner Mahjong tournament using The Big Card
Saturday, November 14, 1:00–4:00 PM at The Queen's Mahjery. $100 per team. Bring a partner and a team name! This is a team tournament: you register as a pair and share one score across four rounds. We're playing with The Big Card from The Mahjong Line and your cards are included. You can pick them up at The Queen's Mahjery ahead of the tournament. Light bites provided. First place wins a $500 Mahjong Line gift card, with raffle prizes throughout the afternoon.
