Whether you recently completed Mahj 101 or it's been a while since you've played, Queen's Mahj 102 is designed to bridge the gap between learning the basics and playing confidently on your own.

In this relaxed, hands-on workshop, we'll revisit the fundamentals of American Mahjong while placing greater emphasis on strategy, decision-making, and independent play. Led by our instructors in an intimate small-group setting, you'll work through guided exercises, practice selecting hands, and learn when to commit to a line or pivot as the game unfolds.

It's the perfect opportunity to ask questions, strengthen your skills, and connect with fellow players as you prepare to take your seat at the table with confidence.

Complimentary light bites, sweet snacks, and beverages are served throughout the session.

What You'll Learn:

• The Fundamentals Refreshed: Review the basic rules, gameplay, and how to read and navigate the Mahjong card.
• Choosing Your Line: Practice evaluating your tiles, identifying potential hands, and selecting the best direction for your game.
• The Charleston & Strategy: Revisit the tile exchange with a focus on what to keep, what to pass, and when to commit to a hand or pivot your strategy.
• Flexible Gameplay: Learn how to set up and play with fewer than four players, so you can practice even without a full table.
• Guided Practice: Build confidence through structured exercises, live gameplay, and real-time instructor feedback.
